COLLEGE BASKETBALL : SCC Loses, 90-76, to Colorado School in Utah Tournament

Colorado School of the Mines defeated Southern California College, 90-76, in the consolation championship game of the Southern Utah State basketball tournament Wednesday at Cedar City, Utah.
SCC (3-8) trailed, 47-28, at halftime. Guard Jim Mansfield led the Vanguards with 15 points. Center Mike Lightfoot scored 13 and guard Todd Dixon added 12 points.
