A sheriff’s deputy, summoned when a man and woman were unable to revive their unconscious baby, applied cardiopulmonary resuscitation and revived the infant.
Eugenia Sorinano, 17, and Patrick Sorinano, 23, of Lakewood were unable to revive their 6-week-old son, Jonathon, after he fell out of his crib Friday morning, said Deputy Bill Wehner.
Deputy Dale Johnson arrived at their home after the couple called the 911 emergency number and was able to get the toddler breathing within about a minute, Wehner said.
Jonathon was taken to a local hospital, where he was examined and released.
