Israel, Palestinians and Violence in Gaza and the West Bank

Tiny Israel has made the front page of the Los Angeles Times again (Dec. 21), and again Israel is the scapegoat; indirectly damned for the violence and unrest perpetrated and orchestrated by agitators ready and even eager to sacrifice Arab lives in a blatant attempt to damage Israel’s world image.
How clever the agitators are. They know precisely which words are needed to spark and fuel uprisings designed to bring swift Israeli retaliation--their desired effect. They feel the world can then see the “barbaric acts” of Israel against “an unarmed people” (fire-bombs and hurled rocks don’t count). Even more cleverly, they know exactly the best time period to initiate Arab violence.
