Shirley Gellatly is the newly elected president of the Saddleback Community College District Board of Trustees.
A resident of Laguna Beach, Gellatly is in her fifth year as a member of the board, which governs Saddleback College in Mission Viejo and Irvine Valley College in Irvine.
Iris Swanson of San Clemente has been elected new vice president and Joan Hueter of Tustin is the new clerk of the seven-member board.
