Henry Cotton, distinguished British golfer, has died at 80.
Cotton, who won the British Open three times, died in London after a short illness. He will be buried Saturday near Penina, Portugal, where he lived.
Cotton won the British Open in 1934, ending a long run of American victories, and won again in 1937 and 1948.
