Danes, Poles Sign Pact

WARSAW — Poland and Denmark have signed an agreement in the wake of the Chernobyl disaster undertaking to give immediate warning in the event of a nuclear accident, the Danish embassy said Wednesday.
Although Denmark, which has no nuclear power stations, has concluded such bilateral agreements with all its neighbors, it is Poland’s first, setting up direct links between officials in each country.
