$1.2 Million Grant for Needy Families

The Stuart Foundations have awarded the Children’s Home Society of California $1.2 million to fund an emergency program to aid families in crisis.
The Emergency Family Care Program in Los Angeles should reduce the need to remove children from troubled families and place them elsewhere. The society expects the program to significantly impact what it says is the very high number of out-of-home placements in Los Angeles County.
