Cypress Wins; Give Assist to Rodriguez . . . 5 Times

Sophomore Chad Rodriguez set a school record with five assists to lead Cypress High School to a 6-3 victory over Magnolia Wednesday in a boys’ nonleague soccer match at Cypress.
Rodriguez assisted on Darren Willis’ three goals and Ray Klug’s two. Joe Chavez also scored for Cypress.
Bruce Over had four saves for Cypress (4-0), which trailed at halftime, 1-0.
