Band Detained for Satanic Ritual

PHOENIX — Members of a California-based rock band were detained by police here after they allegedly videotaped a satanic ritual involving a 17-year-old “willing victim,” police said today.
Four members of Agent Steel, a heavy metal band based in Studio City, were arrested for investigation of aggravated assault. They were released from custody Tuesday while authorities decide whether to press charges. Phoenix police Sgt. Robert Fox said the boy “victim” was tied naked to a bed in a Phoenix motel room. The youth, who apparently was a “willing victim,” was not injured, Fox said.
