Free Shopper Bus Service Begins in Huntington Park

HUNTINGTON PARK — Free holiday shopper buses are available for people visiting the city and shopping along Pacific Boulevard in the downtown area.
The buses will operate from 1 to 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas, as well as on Dec. 23 and 24. The shuttle vans will move shoppers from Florence Avenue to Slauson Avenue along Pacific Boulevard and Rita Avenue.
Van service will be available near each of the existing bus stops along the east side of Pacific Boulevard. The Christmas shuttle service is being co-sponsored by the City of Huntington Park and the Huntington Park Chamber of Commerce through funds from Proposition A. Bus schedules may be obtained by calling 585-1155.
