John J. Clancy, 50, has been named the first chief executive of Valisys Corp., the recently formed FMC Corp. subsidiary based in Santa Clara. Clancy most recently was president of McDonnell Douglas Manufacturing & Engineering Systems Co. Valisys was formed to develop, market and support Valisys Quality Intelligence software.
