Santa Monica : Funds for Student Trip OKd

The City Council voted to donate $250 to Anthony Diaz, a Santa Monica High School junior selected to be part of a group of 15 youngsters who are scheduled to meet Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.
Diaz raised some money for his trip to Washington but needed another $250 to cover his expenses, council members said.
