Labor Dispute Stalls Italy Border Traffic

AOSTA, Italy — Protests by Italian customs men caused lines up to six miles to form on Wednesday for cars and trucks traveling to France through the Mt. Blanc tunnel, traffic police said.
Unions representing some customs officers have called on members to work only in the mornings for the next week to protest delays in implementing administrative reforms.
