Court Workers Strike

BOGOTA, Colombia — About 19,000 court employees, including hundreds of judges, went on strike Wednesday because they haven’t been paid for six weeks. The strike closed 4,000 criminal court offices and 23 Superior Court offices. Colombia’s Congress is holding up the employees’ paychecks while it debates next year’s budget.
