A 23-year-old woman was fatally wounded during an quarrel with her boyfriend Tuesday night, Escondido Police Lt. Earl Callander said. Marolyn Marie Clark, 23, a transient, died at Palomar Hospital following a shooting in the 2200 block of Avenida del Diablo. Richard Allen Tomzack was arrested on suspicion of murder and was being held at the County Jail in Vista. The shooting took place in the caretaker’s residence, at a mini-storage lot, that Tomzack shared with his father.
