‘Death Is Not a Disease’

My 103-year-old mother was in the hospital with pneumonia 15 days in October. The hospital bill was $22,329.10, which included $4,533.60 for pharmacy and $2,558.40 for oxygen, etc.
This is an outrage! In last six years her $175,000 savings has been used up between pneumonia and nursing homes! She has asked to die but in vain. Doctors keep her alive. Former Colorado Gov. Richard Lamm is correct. Something has to be done!
