The “Holiday Charity Gala,” hosted by the Newport Area Professionalson Dec. 1, netted proceeds of $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County. Mary Woodmansee was chairwoman.
The “Celebrity Waiters’ Luncheon” on Dec. 3 grossed $12,000 for the American Lung Association of Orange County. Barbara J. Stewart was chairwoman.
“Babes in Toyland ‘87,” a benefit for the People for an Irvine Community Hospital on Dec. 6, netted proceeds of $12,000. Marcie Lemmon was chairwoman.
“Los Luces Navidad,” hosted Dec. 6 by the Alta Bahia committee of the Orange County Philharmonic Society, netted $18,000 for the philharmonic’s children’s music programs. Gloria Fahey and Chip Little were co-chairwomen.
