College Basketball Highlights : Moorpark Finds Revenge Sweet at Home, 52-44

Moorpark, rebounding from a 30-point loss to Mira Costa on Saturday, won the rematch, 52-44, in a nonconference women’s basketball game Tuesday night at Moorpark.
Moorpark (4-6) was led by Carol Kellick, who scored a game-high 18 points.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The Master’s 65, Cal Lutheran 60--Cal Lutheran pulled to within two points of Master’s with three minutes to play but could draw no closer in the nonconference game at Master’s. Shelmarie Tatum led all scorers with 19 points and also had 19 rebounds for Masters (5-0). Dani Elton led Cal Lutheran (1-7) with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
La Verne 72, Cal Lutheran 60--Martell Johnson scored 19 points and had 12 assists to lead La Verne to a nonconference win at home. Steve deLaveaga led Cal Lutheran (1-6) with 19 points.
James Faulk added 12 points for Cal Lutheran, which shot 38% from the field and 58% from the free-throw line.
