Clashes across Northern Ireland among protesters, police and troops injured 10 people and led to 11 arrests. In Londonderry, police said eight people were hurt and three were arrested after a dummy bomb was used to lure officers and soldiers to the city center, where they were pelted with rocks. A spokesman for the Royal Ulster Constabulary said plastic bullets were fired to disperse the crowd. In Belfast, three Protestants were arrested after a man’s throat was slashed, and two other men were held when gasoline bombs were thrown at police, who escaped injury. In Craigavon, three men were arrested after an assault with a sawed-off shotgun, but no further details were given.
