A murder-suicide resulted in the deaths of a Santee couple Saturday, a San Diego County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Sunday.
About 4 p.m. Saturday, Patricia Nush called a relative to say that she had killed her husband, Harry Nush, in the couple’s home and that she was contemplating suicide, the sheriff’s spokesman said. The relative immediately called the Sheriff’s Department and officers were dispatched to the house.
At the scene, officers attempted to contact Patricia Nush, 31, by telephone and a public address system, but received no answer. When officers entered the house several minutes later, they found the woman lying dead on a living room couch and her 33-year-old husband dead in a bedroom hallway.
