NCAA Division I-AA Playoffs : NE Louisiana Rallies to Win, 33-32

Stan Humphries passed for four second-half touchdowns and Teddy Garcia kicked a 48-yard field goal with 14 seconds left Saturday to rally Northeast Louisiana to a 33-32 victory over Eastern Kentucky at Monroe, La., in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs.

Northeast (11-2) plays Northern Iowa, a 49-28 winner over Arkansas State, in next week’s semifinals.

At Huntington, W.Va., Tony Petersen threw four touchdown passes, and Marshall intercepted six passes in a 51-23 victory over Weber State (10-3). Marshall (9-4) moved into the semifinals against Southern Conference rival Appalachian State (11-2), a 19-0 victor over Georgia Southern (9-4) at Boone, N.C.
