‘Best’ Home List Features Five State Designers

A house designed by Newport Beach-based architect Aram Bassenian was among the 17 model homes named best in the nation in the November issue of Professional Builder magazine.
The zero-lot-line house was designed for A-M Homes and was built in the Westpark Borgatta area of Irvine. The single-family houses by A-M Homes range in price from $162,500 to $180,500.
Among the other California-based architects and interior designers represented in the other 16 plans selected were: Berkus Group, Santa Barbara; Richardson Nagy Martin, Newport Beach; Danielian Associates, Irvine; Carole Eichen Interiors Inc., Santa Ana, and Color Design Art, Pacific Palisades.
