4 Jailed in Killing of Palestinian Arab

JERUSALEM — Israeli police arrested four Jewish settlers in the shooting death of a 17-year-old Arab girl in the occupied Gaza Strip, police said Friday.
It apparently was the first arrest of Jewish settlers for a fatal attack on a Palestinian since the 1984 conviction of a band of terrorists known as the “Jewish Underground.” The arrested men were accused in the Nov. 10 shooting death of a girl at the Deir el Balah Manfuluti girls’ high school during an anti-Israeli demonstration.
