Local News in Brief : Forster Renamed to Water Board Post

Mary Jane Forster of San Juan Capistrano has been reappointed to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board by Gov. George Deukmejian.
Forster, a Republican, was first appointed by Deukmejian in 1983 and has been board chairman since 1985. She ia also special projects coodinator for the Municipal Water District of Orange County and a community relations consultant for South Coast Water District.
The California Regional Water Quality Control Board is charged with protecting the state’s ground, surface and ocean waters.
