Spending the State Tax Rebates

How Deukmejian can offer a rebate when our educational system is inadequate and we have homeless people on our streets is beyond me. I consider this a cynical political move aimed at buying votes at the expense of this state’s future. Therefore, I am donating my rebate check to the Union Rescue Mission to help feed the homeless he has so heartlessly turned his back on.
