A 5-year-old San Diego boy was killed Monday afternoon in South Bay.
Rdwan Jonas Mejia was hit at 5:10 p.m. as he crossed in the 2400 block of Palm Avenue, according to the San Diego County coroner’s office. The victim was taken to Chula Vista Community Hospital with multiple injuries. He was declared dead shortly before 6 p.m.
San Diego police were investigating the accident.
