Baseball: Orange Lutheran opens National Classic with 7-4 win

Orange Lutheran (9-4) opened play on Monday in the Natonal Classic with a 7-4 victory over La Serna. Brad Rinehart had two hits and three RBIs. Jason Martin hit a home run.
Huntington Beach defeated Concord De La Salle, 7-1. Freshman Logan Pouelsen had three hits.
Gahr defeated Utah Cottonwood, 13-1.
Steven Andrade had three hits to lead Cypress past Elsinore, 7-0. Five pitchers combined on a three-hitter.
Esperanza defeated Spanish Fork, 3-2, with a run in the bottom of the seventh. Nick Ono had the game-winning double. Brandon Luper struck out 10 in a complete game.
