Forest Monroe and Connor Plaga -- two stars for Loyola boys’ water polo -- signed with the USC Trojans. Monroe, a goal-scoring force, was a first-team Southern Section selection and Plaga, a two-meter defender, earned second-team honors.
Monroe and Plaga, who led Loyola to a runner-up finish in the Mission League, will join a talented Trojan recruiting class, said USC Coach Jovan Vavic.
‘This is a great class,’ Vavic said. ‘We have a lot of talented guys coming in.’
Obviously, with Monroe and Plaga going there.
