Softball: Burbank first baseman signs with Dayton

Kristina Ortiz, a left-handed first baseman at Burbank, has signed with Dayton to play softball. Ortiz batted .354 as a junior with a .957 fielding percentage.

‘She is a powerful lefty hitter and a great corner player who has excellent range and great hands,’ said her coach, Nicole Drabecki.
