Police search for parents of two toddlers found wandering South L.A.

Investigators on Tuesday continued to look for the parents of two toddlers found wandering alone near a South L.A. liquor store.
The two boys, believed to be about 3 years and 18 months old, were first spotted Monday morning alone inside the liquor store near the 600 block of East 85th Street, said LAPD Sgt. Abe Rangel.
When officers arrived they found one of the boys inside the store and another on the street. The children indicated that they lived in a nearby apartment, Rangel said, but officers couldn’t find their parents after searching the area.
The boys, who are believed to be brothers, are in the custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, Rangel said, which assisting with the investigation.
